Terms of Use

Acceptance and eligibility

These Terms govern your use of Plug for Terraria (“Plug” or the “app”), provided by Innovative Developers LTD (“Innovative Developers”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 09011626. Our registered office is Oakingham House, Frederick Place, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England, HP11 1JU. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms and the applicable Apple App Store terms. If you are not old enough to agree to these Terms where you live, a parent or guardian must review and agree to them for you.

What the app does

Plug is a companion utility for Terraria Mobile. It lets you choose item IDs, quantities and compatible modifiers, save local presets, and export those choices to a Terraria player by running a temporary multiplayer server inside the same iPhone or iPad. During export, you leave Plug's export window open, switch to Terraria, choose the player, tap Join, and select “Plug for Terraria” under Local.

Terraria Mobile must be installed on the same device and is sold separately. Plug does not include Terraria, access Terraria save files, host an internet game server, or provide an account, subscription or cloud inventory.

Licence and permitted use

Subject to these Terms and the App Store rules, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control for lawful personal use. You may not copy, sell, redistribute, rent, sublicense, misrepresent, or attempt to interfere with or gain unauthorised access to the app or related systems. Nothing in these Terms prevents activity that applicable law expressly permits.

Your responsibilities

• Make room in the chosen Terraria player's inventory before exporting and check the result before repeating an incomplete export.
• Keep any backups that you consider appropriate. Item exports and third-party game updates can have results outside our control.
• Use only a player and device you are entitled to use.
• Follow Terraria's terms and the rules of any multiplayer world or server you join.
• Do not use exported items to disrupt, deceive, harass, exploit or obtain unauthorised access to other players, services or systems.

Purchases

Plug is sold through the Apple App Store. The app has no subscription, consumable credits or in-app purchases. Apple handles the purchase, download, restore, taxes and any refund request under its terms and applicable consumer law. Pricing and availability can vary by country or region.

Compatibility, updates and availability

Version 2.20 was tested with Terraria Mobile 1.4.5.8 on supported iPhone and iPad devices. The export protocol depends on Terraria Mobile and iOS behaviour that third parties can change. We do not promise compatibility with every past or future Terraria or iOS version, every device, every item, every modifier, or every multiplayer service.

iOS background-time limits, available inventory space, network state, game updates or corrupted local data may interrupt an export. Some items may arrive before an interruption. Check the player's inventory and export only missing items again. We may update, fix, replace or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for compatibility, security, legal compliance or maintenance.

Multiplayer and local-server rules

Plug's export server is intended only for the same-device export flow. You must not expose, probe, overload, modify or repurpose it to attack another device, player, server or network. The app does not authorise cheating on public servers or any conduct prohibited by Terraria, a server operator or applicable law.

Other Plug apps and first-party pages

Plug may show a small optional card with reviewed information about our other apps and permanent links to our Plug collection. The card can disappear when its first-party manifest is unavailable or invalid, and it never changes or blocks the export workflow. Privacy, Terms and the collection open in a controlled in-app browser; App Store and other external links open through the system.

Third-party products and intellectual property

Terraria, its names, artwork, items and related rights belong to their respective owners. Plug for Terraria is an independent third-party companion app. It is not Terraria and is not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by Terraria's creators, publisher or platform providers.

Apple, Terraria and external services such as Facebook, X and Discord provide their own products under their own terms. We are not responsible for changes to, suspension of, or content supplied by those third-party products.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains local preset storage, the same-device export session, first-party page requests, support messages and external links.

Disclaimers and liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights, or liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted exports, permanent compatibility with third-party software, or that every selected item will be accepted by Terraria. We are not liable for losses caused solely by a third-party game or service change, misuse contrary to these Terms, or a failure to keep reasonable backups, except where the loss was reasonably foreseeable and directly caused by our breach.

Changes and termination

We may update these Terms to reflect app changes, legal requirements or security needs. We will update the date above and provide additional notice where required. You may stop using and uninstall the app at any time. We may end the licence for a material breach, subject to applicable law, but the app has no user account for us to suspend.

Governing law and consumer rights

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this choice does not remove mandatory protections provided by the law of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in any court available to you under that law.
