Plug for Stardew Valley
Privacy Policy

The short version: Plug edits the Stardew Valley save folder you choose on your device. It has no account, advertising, analytics or tracking, and it does not upload your saves or gameplay data. When online, it makes a small request to our website to show the current Plug app collection.
1. Who operates the app
Plug for Stardew Valley ("Plug" or the "app") is operated by Innovative Developers LTD ("we", "us" or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 09011626. Our registered office is Oakingham House, Frederick Place, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England, HP11 1JU.

None of the local save information above is linked by us to an identity or used for advertising, profiling or tracking.
3. Data stored only on your device
iOS gives Plug access only after you choose a folder in the Files picker. Plug reads the selected save files, stages your requested changes, writes them back to that folder and creates local backups. Plug does not send the folder name, farmer name, farm name, game progress, save contents or backup contents to Innovative Developers.
Deleting Plug removes the app's remembered folder permission and local preferences. It does not automatically delete your Stardew Valley saves or the PlugBackups folders stored beside them. You can manage those files in Files.
4. External links and services
When the dashboard is online, Plug requests a small first-party file from innovative-devs.com to decide whether to show the current Plug app collection. The request contains no save data, farmer name, farm name, gameplay data, advertising identifier or account identifier. The promotion is hidden if the request fails or its contents are invalid.
The app also contains optional links for email support, our website, the App Store, Discord, X and Facebook. If you open a link, the chosen service may receive normal connection information such as your IP address, browser or device information, and anything you choose to send. Its own privacy policy then applies.
The app is distributed through Apple's App Store. Apple may process purchase, download, device and diagnostic information under Apple's Privacy Policy. That information is not collected by Plug itself.
This policy website and the Plug app collection are delivered through Cloudflare and our web host. When you visit a page, they process request information such as IP address, browser information, requested page, date and time to deliver and protect the site. Ordinary page access logs rotate daily and are retained for up to 14 rotations. The automatic catalogue manifest is excluded from our origin access logs. Cloudflare's handling is described in its Privacy Policy. These pages use no advertising or analytics scripts.
5. Legal bases
Plug's save editing takes place on your device and does not involve Innovative Developers receiving personal data. If you contact support, we process the information you choose to provide to answer your request, based on your request and our legitimate interest in supporting and securing the app. We may retain limited records where necessary to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
6. Retention and deletion
You control local saves, backups and the app itself using iOS and Files. Use “Forget This Folder” to remove the remembered folder permission from Plug. For a support message held by us, you may ask us to delete it; we will do so unless we need to keep limited information for legal, fraud-prevention or security reasons.
7. Security
Plug uses the iOS document picker and security-scoped folder access, checks edited save files after writing and creates a backup before each save. No security measure can eliminate every risk, so keep a separate copy of any farm that matters to you and close Stardew Valley before applying changes.
8. International transfers
Plug does not transfer your save data off your device. Cloudflare may process the limited app-collection request information in other countries under its safeguards. If you choose to use an external link or email provider, that provider may also process information in other countries under its own terms and safeguards.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of personal data, and to complain to a data-protection authority. Because we do not receive your save data or maintain app accounts, we cannot access or delete local save information for you. For support information that we do hold, contact us using the address below.
10. Children
Plug does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app and has no account, advertising, tracking or in-app messaging. The app-collection request is not used to identify, profile or advertise to a child. Discord is for users aged 13 and over and has its own rules. A parent or guardian should help younger users with external links and support messages.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, law or our services change. We will post the revised policy at this stable URL and change the effective date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or on the website where appropriate.
